Newcastle United Ticket FAQ
The questions people search for most about NUFC tickets, answered directly.
How much are Newcastle United season tickets?+
Adult season tickets for 2026/27 range from £507 for the Family Area up to £987 for Category 1 seats (East Stand / Milburn Level 1), with premium hospitality options at £1,245 (Bar 1892) and £1,404 (Platinum Club). Category 2, the most common area, is £801. See the full season ticket price table.
Are Newcastle United season tickets for sale right now?+
New general-sale season tickets are very rarely available — the club has sold out its allocation each of the last several seasons and instead operates a waiting list. Existing holders get a renewal window (2026/27 renewals ran 9–31 March 2026); any tickets returned or released are usually offered to people on the waiting list first.
How does the Newcastle United season ticket waiting list work?+
You register your interest with the club, and you're placed in a queue. The list is currently estimated at around 40,000 people, so waits can run into years. Priority when tickets do become available generally follows how long you've been on the list and your membership history.
What are the season ticket prices for 2025/26 vs 2026/27?+
2026/27 prices rose by roughly 5% across the standard Category 1–3 and Family Area tickets, and around 15% for the Bar 1892 and Platinum Club premium areas, compared with 2025/26. Full breakdown on the Season Tickets page.
Do I need a membership to buy match tickets?+
Not strictly, but in practice yes — Newcastle sell most Premier League tickets to Mags members first through a ballot. Non-members are very rarely able to buy, since general sale is seldom reached. Adult membership (Mags) costs £39; Junior Mags is £20. See match ticket prices by fixture category.
Some fans are saving up to £300 on their season.

What is the NUFC box office / ticket office phone number?+
The club's ticketing customer care line is 0191 201 8444. Use this for account, membership and general ticketing queries rather than for match-day stadium enquiries.
How do I download or access my Newcastle United tickets?+
Digital tickets are managed through the club's official ticketing account and mobile app once you're logged in with your NUFC account. If you can't find a downloaded ticket, check the ticketing section of your online account first, as most match tickets are mobile/digital rather than printed.
Are there women's team season tickets?+
Newcastle United Women offer their own separate season ticket and membership scheme at a lower price point than the men's team, covering home matches at their own ground. Check the official site's women's team section for current pricing, as it's set and reviewed separately from the men's prices.
When do pre-season tickets go on sale?+
Pre-season friendlies are usually ticketed separately from the league season, with on-sale dates announced individually a few weeks before each fixture, typically in the summer close season (June–July).
What's the cheapest way to watch Newcastle United?+
The Family Area season ticket (£507 adult) is the cheapest standard season ticket category — see the season ticket table. For one-off games, Category B fixture tickets in the lower junior/young-adult price bands are typically the most affordable single-match option — see match ticket prices.
